COVID or otherwise, stress placed on young developing minds can be overwhelming. Calming Kit (CK) includes evidenced based strategies that can support emotional regulation. Located deep within the cerebrum is the limbic system, the region of the brain involved in behavior and emotions. CK comes with an instruction insert identifying the limbic system, evidenced based strategies, and specific calming tools to maximize remaining calm during challenging times. Detailed guidance regarding product use is provided; the purpose of the products, the application of products for calming, and strategies to teach the child the purpose of the products. CK includes Impresa products, all hypoallergenic, nontoxic, and free of BPAs, phthalates and latex. Each kit contains 1 Monkey Noodle (can be cut into 3 pieces), 1 Monkey Spiky Roller, 1 Monkey Marble Mesh, 1 Instruction Insert, and a Picture Pocket to place a photo of a loved one or object to provide a reminder of love and safety. The benefit of CK supports current time, but strategies learned can be applied throughout a lifetime.
